Teachers recognized for excellence

Three teachers in the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences were recognized for their dedication and enthusiasm in providing a positive learning environment and their commitment to teaching excellence.

Each year the Faculty is able to nominate faculty members and graduate students to be recognized by the North American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture for their accomplishments as a teacher.

This years winners included:

• Garrett Sawatzky, School of Agriculture – Teaching Award of Merit
• Uduak Edet, Biosystems Engineering – Graduate Student Teaching Award
• Chelsey Walchuk, Food and Human Nutritional Sciences – Graduate Student Teaching Award
