New webpage takes a step-by-step approach to registration
The Registrar’s Office has developed a new web page outlining the steps to registration. This new resource for students covers a wide range of topics on the actions required to successfully register for courses. This page is designed to help you navigate the hectic task of registration, whether you are entirely new to the University of Manitoba or are nearing the end of your degree.
For new students, you will find an expansive guide full of information and graphics covering everything you need to know while registering for courses. The page covers topics such as the Aurora system, its functions, and its purpose in your daily schedule. It also covers topics like what to do before you register, how to register and information about what to do next, such as how to get an ID card and how to understand your fee assessment.
The page is useful for returning students as well. Its navigation allows you to jump from topic to topic with ease, using in-page links and a step-by-step system. If you ever need a quick reminder on a certain topic, it is as easy as selecting that topic from the button menu at the top of the page and jumping right to the place you need to be!
This page also includes a suite of new infographics designed to help new and old students alike get a better understanding of Aurora and its features.
The most important thing to remember while using this page is to take your time reading. Registration is a big task with many moving parts, but to help the process go smoothly, the page has been broken into sections full of information and links to additional resources. With the new steps to registration, you can worry less about the administrative aspect of your studies and focus on being a student!
