Dr. Todd Mondor appointed Deputy Provost (Academic Planning and Programs)
A respected administrator and accomplished researcher committed to student success, Dr. Todd Mondor has been appointed Deputy Provost (Academic Planning and Programs) effective July 1, 2019. A tenured professor in the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Arts, Dr. Mondor currently holds the position of Vice-Provost (Graduate Education) and Dean of Graduate Studies.
“Given Dr. Mondor’s demonstrated accomplishments in senior academic administrative positions and his highly collaborative, creative and student-centered approach I believe that the University will be well-served by his appointment as Deputy Provost (Academic Planning and Programs),” says Dr. Janice Ristock, Provost and Vice-President (Academic).
While serving as Dean of Graduate Studies, Dr. Mondor restructured the Associate Dean portfolios to support innovation and development, worked to create a sustainable financial plan for graduate student support, co-led a process to craft a new strategic enrolment plan and introduced several recognition initiatives for support staff, faculty and staff.
An active participant on various University committees, such as the Deans and Directors Council, Strategic Enrolment Management Committee, Senate, Senate Executive, several Senate committees and having served on presidential advisory committees to appoint deans and directors, Dr. Mondor has demonstrated his commitment to and leadership skills in academic administration.
