1000 Miles Apart, ceramics conference 2015
The School of Art is hosting the 26th annual ceramics conference, 1000 Miles Apart, from Oct. 1-3, 2015, on the U of M campus.
The 1000 Miles Apart Conference was first organized in 1989 by faculty and students from the University of Manitoba and Red Deer College in Alberta, hence the name: 1000 Miles Apart. Today, it includes four institutes in Western Canada, providing an excellent opportunity for artists to network and share ideas. The conference presents a series of exhibitions, artists’ demonstrations, and presentations.
