Asper MBA team finishes second at Haskayne
Congrats to the Asper MBA case competition team that placed second overall at the Epic 24-Hour Case Competition, which took place March 4-5. Hosted by the Haskayne Business School at the University of Calgary, the competition pitted Asper students Christa Kruck, Jesse Perry, Eric Postma and Michael Gregoire against eleven teams, including Haskayne, Concordia and Ryerson. The Asper team beat all Canadian schools.
“This is the very first time we have made it to the final round at this competition,” says Marci Elliott, Executive Director of the Asper MBA program. “The case was epic indeed. Students were asked to solve a ‘wicked problem’ related to kickstarting the Canadian economy while solving both social and business issues using entrepreneurial thinking.”
Ultimately, Hong Kong won the overall competition and Schulich came third.
