Winnipeg Free Press: Wog speeds to breaststroke crown

August 9, 2016 —

As the Winnipeg Free Press reports:

Winnipegger and University of Manitoba Bisons swim recruit Kelsey Wog successfully defended her 200-metre breaststroke crown Thursday at the 2016 Canadian Swimming Championships in Edmonton.

Wog finished .003 of a second ahead of Montreal’s Ashley McGregor to capture her second successful national title in the women’s 200-metre breaststroke event.

“My goal was just to have a solid race and race, not just swim,” Wog told Swimming Canada after the win. “My experience from the past helps me know what I’m going into and stay focused and not get distracted.”
