UM’s response on the Post-Secondary Accountability Framework

On June 17, 2022, I participated in a consultation on the Post-Secondary Accountability Framework (PSAF) hosted by Advanced Education Skills and Immigration. Dr. Catherine Cook, Vice-President (Indigenous); Dr. Diane Hiebert-Murphy, Provost and Vice-President (Academic); Mike Emslie, Chief Financial Officer/Comptroller; and Dr. Mark Torchia, Vice-Provost (Teaching and Learning), also participated on behalf of UM.

Following the meeting, we prepared a letter to reiterate our feedback and ensure UM’s position around accountability and autonomy are clear. I am committed to transparency with our university community, and welcome you to review this letter as it was sent to the Deputy Minister.
