Astrophysicist inspires graduate students at the College of Pharmacy

October 1, 2024 — 
The Inspire Mentorship Program at the College of Pharmacy prepares graduate students to navigate their career journeys as they approach the end of their programs.  “We do all of this because we want to see each other succeed,” said Nitesh Sanghai, a PhD student and program coordinator. “When you are finishing your program, it can feel like you are at the edge of a cliff.”

The Rady Faculty of Health Sciences hosted its largest Dean’s Homecoming Breakfast ever on Sept. 21, as more than 240 UM alumni came to the Brodie Centre atrium to celebrate a record 24 milestone reunions, spanning six decades.

Canadian Academy of Health Sciences honours two UM researchers

Philanthropists’ $5-million gift recognized with naming of new building on Bannatyne campus

September 20, 2024 — 
Dentistry alum Dr. Gerald Niznick and his wife Reesa have made a landmark gift to UM, contributing $5 million to leading-edge dental clinics to be located in a new building on the Bannatyne campus. The five-storey building will be named in the Niznicks' honour.
