Transform Faculty of Science furniture into new opportunities
Help avoid surplus furniture from the landfill

As you might already know, Machray Hall is undergoing a huge redevelopment resulting in a surplus of furniture in the Faculty of Science. This furniture is now available to all UM faculties and units, presenting an excellent opportunity to repurpose these items and prevent them from ending up in landfills.
Please note that every faculty has to fund the relocation of selected furniture. The deadline to express interest in the surplus furniture is June 28, 2024. Please contact Dawson Reynolds at dawson.reynolds@umanitoba.ca with a description of the furniture you need, and we will find the best match for your request.
Examples of available furniture are desks, desk chairs, shelving, etc.
