Portage Online: Aggie Bedpush rolls through Portage to support rural health and wellness

The streets of Portage la Prairie got a lively surprise on the afternoon of September 26 as the University of Manitoba’s Aggie Bedpush rolled through town around 3 p.m., turning heads along Saskatchewan Avenue. The annual event sees students from the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences push their signature burgundy bed across Manitoba to raise money and awareness for causes close to rural life. This year’s trek is in support of STARS Air Ambulance and the Manitoba Farmer Wellness Program.
