On August 1, 2023 Dr. Jan Stewart began her appointment as the new dean of the Faculty of Education, Dr. Stewart will also hold a position as tenured Professor in the Department of Educational Administration, Foundations and Psychology.

July 24, 2023 — 
On June 4th the Faculty of Education joined Pride 2023 in celebration of 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

On May 26th and 27th, three University of Manitoba faculty co-hosted a symposium, Public Conversations About Privatization: Rejecting the Marketization of Public School Systems in Canada, at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) in Toronto, Ontario.
