Appointment – Assistant Professor, Department of Architecture
The Faculty of Architecture is pleased to announce that the Board of Governors has approved the appointment of Neil Minuk as Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture, effective July 1, 2016.
Professor Minuk has a Bachelor of Arts (Native Studies and Art History) and a Master of Architecture, both from the University of Manitoba.
In addition to being a founding Partner of DIN Projects design firm, Professor Minuk has had a long standing relationship with the Faculty of Architecture. Since 1999, Professor Minuk has served as a Lecturer, Sessional Lecturer and Adjunct Professor, advising graduate students in the Faculty. He also served as Director of the Arch2 Gallery from 2003 until 2015.
Professor Minuk will provide expertise in the areas of building technology, Indigenous housing and sustainability in connection to Northern climates.
