Join the Commuter Challenge, June 2 to 8
Calling all commuters! The annual cross-Canada Commuter Challenge happens June 2 to 8 and the University of Manitoba is once again registered as an official workplace. All current employees are welcome to participate! The Commuter Challenge is aimed at encouraging alternative forms of transportation, such as carpooling, public transit, biking, walking, and running. Last year, Manitoba lead the competition with 324 workplaces registered, followed by British Columbia with 138 workplaces registered.
Keep active this summer with Sneakers in Motion day on June 20 and Bike to Work Day on June 21.
