In Memoriam: Dr. Marvin Seale, animal scientist

Dr. Marvin Seale, retired professor emeritus in the Department of Animal Science, passed away on August 15, 2021 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
He served with the University of Manitoba from 1951 to 1980, teaching and conducting research in animal breeding. He served as department head from 1973-1980.
He was recognized for his significant contributions by being made a Fellow in the Agricultural Institute of Canada, an Honourary Life Member of the Canadian Society of Animal Science and a Professor Emeritus at the University of Manitoba.
A celebration of Marvin’s life will take place in the Tache Salon of the Norwood Hotel, on Saturday, September 25, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
