Honoured Faculty of Science Alumni Awards Celebration
On Thursday, January 26th, the Faculty of Science celebrated seven outstanding alumni at the second annual Alumni Awards event. The reception included an opportunity to connect with the honoured guests, refreshments, and a live jazz duo from the Desautels Faculty of Music. The former students, one from each of the seven Faculty of Science departments, participated in a panel discussion on the different paths a science degree can take you down.
The event was a huge success, with many faculty, both current and former, students, and family members helping dean Stefi Baum in celebrating these amazing U of M alumni.
