Asper School of Business student and Bison track and field athlete Eric Guy needs your help.
Along with U of M student and friend Wade Ryplanski, he’s set out to raise money for CancerCare Manitoba. The students have already surpassed their original $500 goal — and now they’ve set their sights on raising “as much money as possible” by February 20.
Guy says he and Wade committed to taking action after they began volunteering at the Winnipeg Children’s Hospital a year and a half ago. “We’ve worked with so many children at the hospital who have inspired us. We felt there was more we could do outside of volunteering to help our friends, and now we want to inspire others to do the same.”
Eric and Wade are challenging you to make a $10 donation — “about the cost of a couple Starbucks Frappuccinos, or a month of Netflix, or a night out with friends” — through their website. For every $100 you donate, they’ll donate an additional $10.
