Former Olympic skier and NFL player Jeremy Bloom will speak to students

Former Olympic skier and NFL player Jeremy Bloom will speak to students at the University of Manitoba’s Asper School of Business on Thursday, November 14.

Students will have the opportunity to ask Bloom questions about his success as an entrepreneur. Bloom is President and Co-Founder of Integrate, a marketing technology firm that has won numerous awards, including Ernst & Young’s 2010 Best New Business Award. Bloom has personally garnered several awards and recognitions and was listed on Forbes magazine’s 30 Under 30 for Technology.

Later that evening, Bloom will deliver the keynote address at the 47th Annual Commerce Business Banquet, a time-honoured tradition at the Asper School of Business. The evening includes a five-course meal, welcome addresses from Winnipeg dignitaries, and special guest speaker Louie Tolaini, President and Founder of TransX.

The largest event of its kind in Canada, the Commerce Business Banquet presents a unique opportunity for the business leaders of tomorrow to meet and network with the business leaders of today. Some of Winnipeg and Manitoba’s top executives and representatives from local leading-edge companies will attend the reception and sit with the students during dinner.
