Filming on Fort Garry campus from Dec. 17-23
Please be aware of action sequences that include stunts, car crashes and simulated gunfire
Filming for a motion picture will take place on the UM’s Fort Garry campus from Friday, Dec. 17 until Thursday, Dec. 23.
The filming will take place mostly outdoors, and you may see a great deal of activity, film crew personnel and extras moving around the campus. The company (10107038 Manitoba Inc.) will do its best to limit the disturbance in the area as much as possible.
All crew, cast, and extras are required to adhere to the vaccination policy on campus.
The motion picture, called Unspoken, is a drama that includes many action sequences that play out on campus. Scenes contain stunts, car crashes and simulated gunfire.
If you are nearby, you may be advised to temporarily wait at times for everyone’s personal safety. The company has agreed to do its best to redirect pedestrian traffic and keep hold times to a minimum.
The company greatly appreciates being able to utilize the University of Manitoba campus for its movie production, and thanks the community in advance for understanding.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the company’s on-site assistant location manager on the filming day, Thomas Lubig at 204-510-9217 or our location manager, Cliff Sumter at 204-296-2828 prior to our filming day.
