Extended library hours

This December, Libraries is making it a little easier to find a quiet space to study for exams by extending hours. 

Elizabeth Dafoe Library will be open until 1:00 a.m. Dec. 10 and 17.

Dafoe Library hours until Dec. 20: 

Monday – Thursday – 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m. (staff available to 8:00 p.m.)

Friday – 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (staff available to 8:00 p.m.)

Saturday – 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  (staff available to 5:00 p.m.)

Sunday – 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. (staff available to 8:00 p.m.)

St. John’s College Library and the St. Paul’s College Library – until Dec. 20, these libraries will be open:

Monday to Thursday – 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. (staff available to 4:30 p.m.)

Friday – 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (staff available to 4:30 p.m.)

Sunday (St. Paul’s College only) – 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (no staff available)

The Law Library is also offering extended hours until Dec 20:

Monday and Tuesday – 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (staff available to 10:00 p.m.)

Wed and Thursday – 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (staff available to 8:00 p.m.)

Friday – 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (staff available to 5:00 p.m.)
Saturday – 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (staff available to 5:00 p.m.)

Sunday – 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (staff available to 8:00 p.m.)

The Sciences & Technology Library will be open 24 hours a day, Sunday to Thursday, from Dec. 10 until Dec. 20 for student study.

Sciences & Technology Library staff will be available at the following times during those dates:

Monday – Friday – 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday – 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 
Sunday – 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.   

On Dec. 21, all U of M libraries will close at 4:30 p.m. and will be closed for the holidays from Dec. 22 – Jan. 1, and will resume regular hours beginning Jan. 2.
