On May 18, 2015, Dr. Kanta Gupta, Distinguished Professor, F.R.S.C., Department of Mathematics was appointed an Honorary Professor of Chongqing University of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Gupta was presented the honorary title, and was a plenary speaker at the University’s International Conference on Quantitative Properties of Groups and Related Topics, held May 15 – 19, 2015, in Yongchuan, P. R. China.
