Diane Hiebert-Murphy named Acting Dean, Faculty of Social Work
Diane Hiebert-Murphy
An accomplished researcher and administrator, Dr. Diane Hiebert-Murphy was appointed Acting Dean of the Faculty of Social Work effective July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019. Concurrently, she will continue to serve as Vice-Provost (Academic Affairs).
Dr. Hiebert-Murphy has a rich understanding of the university’s diversity across its academic and administrative functions and a deep appreciation for faculty relations and development, equity, diversity and inclusion, as well as academic administrator leadership development. As an esteemed professor in social work and clinical psychology, she continues to support and mentor graduate students, engage in clinical practice and sustain her research on intimate partner violence as an esteemed professor in social work and clinical psychology.
