Whether it’s a hornet or a yellowjacket, wasps can be a nuisance.

However, while these insects may sting, they can also be helpful.

CBC spoke with University of Manitoba entomologist Nuria Morfin about some of the benefits of having them around, and what to do if you want them to buzz off.
