Catholic institutions supporting Reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples

Last week, on October 24, the Presidents and Rectors of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities in Canada (ACCUC) presented their report regarding the work being done across Catholic campuses in Canada to support Reconciliation. This report was presented to Senator Murray Sinclair at a national breakfast held in Ottawa. Senator Sinclair spoke to those who were gathered about the need to continue efforts in this area. Among those present were the provincials for the Oblates and the Jesuits, a representative of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops, University/College presidents and rectors, as well as a number of MPs.
