UM Libraries new Digitization Centre now open and accepting digitization requests

October 24, 2025 — 
UM Libraries Digitization Centre is officially open and accepting digitization requests from UM students, staff, faculty and the public. The Digitization Centre digitizes materials such as books, textual materials, photographs, slides, negatives, large formats like maps or architectural drawings, and now film.

New nurses ready to ‘dive right in’

October 23, 2025 — 
The College of Nursing welcomed 97 new nurses to the profession at a pinning ceremony on Oct. 22, the day after the bachelor of nursing students graduated at convocation. Twenty-eight students from the college’s graduate programs also crossed the convocation stage to receive their degrees, including 20 graduates from the nurse practitioner program.
