When Bryn Sitarik first began studying at UM in 2016, she was interested in a business degree, with a focus on human resources. But after an experience working at CancerCare Manitoba in Summer 2018, she shifted her focus to nursing.

The university has discovered posters in several buildings on campus which include antisemitic language and defamatory statements against the late Israel Asper, O.C., O.M., Q.C., L.L.D. We have removed every identified poster and continue to patrol campus to support a safe environment.

Tabiban is one of the collaborators in a new research project to make 5G networks more secure using Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions along with researchers from the University of Waterloo, Concordia University and Ericsson Canada. This initiative is part of the Government of Canada’s new Cyber Security Innovation Network with funding support from the National Cybersecurity Consortium (NCC) and Ericsson.
