Labour Relations has updated its website to provide community members with access to the most current bargaining updates and collective agreements by union, all in one place.
On the site you will find that negotiations are underway to seek renewal of the collective agreement between the University of Manitoba and the University of Manitoba Faculty Association (UMFA). Negotiations with Unifor 3007 concluded in October 2024, and with CUPE 3909 in November 2024.
UM employees are represented by six unions, each at different stages of contracts. This website gathers all the important milestone and progress reports into one user-friendly portal that also provides employees with resources such as definitions of common bargaining terms and overviews of collective bargaining processes.
