MBAs pitch winning idea at Cardinal

Asper MBA students Sam Fay, Michael Deluca and Kathleen Bluesky won first place in the Idea Pitch category of this year’s Brown-Forman Cardinal Challenge in Louisville, Kentucky.

On behalf of the team, Fay pitched Allview Informatics, a retail intelligence service that uses newly designed software to detect people and track movement in video surveillance to produce information useful for business decisions.

Allview was the only Canadian team to make it to the semi-finals and receive the invitation to Louisville.

Associates Fellow in finance explores race, gender and neurodivergence and financial outcomes

Asper associate professor and The Associates Fellow in Finance, Chi Liao is an expert in behavioural finance, engaging with datasets and psychology, sociology and other social sciences to tackle these questions. She seeks to understand how broader social phenomena affect individual behaviours in financial decision-making and ultimately financial outcomes.

Asper BComm student Gilbert Eretchabor is currently working hard to revitalize the University of Manitoba Supply Chain Organization (UMSCO) as president and is a passionate advocate for the field. Supply chain isn’t something that Eretchabor pursued from the start of his degree, but some cogent advice from the Dean helped him see his future (and his past) in supply chain.
