Agriculture and Home Economics alumni return to campus
A number of reunions held during Homecoming 2017 gave alumni a chance to catch up with friends and former classmates, and to visit familiar campus haunts.
Agriculture Degree graduates from the Classes of 1962 and 1967 as well as the Home Economics Class of 1966 planned special events during the September celebration.
Their visits included tours of classrooms and laboratories; brunches, banquets, and get-togethers at classmates’ homes; and opportunities to sight-see in Winnipeg. Yearbooks and other memorabilia were shared, along with many stories and laughter. Missing classmates were remembered and friendships were renewed.
Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences, Dr. Karin Wittenberg, was pleased to bring greetings to several of the groups and give them a snapshot of the Faculty’s activities and priorities in 2017.
