On behalf of the University of Manitoba community, I would like to mark International Women’s Day 2018 with a recognition of the incredible contribution women make in all sectors of our society and with a commitment to take action and stand together with women as we continue, true to this year’s theme, to press for progress.
At the University of Manitoba, women promote progress through institutional transformation and academic research and scholarship.
Our world improves as women are empowered to lead change; equity and inclusion remain among our university’s core values.
