GALLERY: 27th Annual Traditional Graduation Pow Wow

The University of Manitoba’s Traditional Graduation Pow Wow is one of the biggest events of its kind in the province. Saturday, May 7 saw one of the largest crowds in the event’s 27 year history. The annual event saw 26 drum groups and 250 dancers perform as approximately 1,100 friends, family and community members celebrated the achievements of Indigenous grads. There are approximately 350 First Nations, Métis and Inuit students graduating from the U of M this year.
