CBC: Arab cultures in spotlight at University of Manitoba

As the CBC reports:

The University of Manitoba is educating students about aspects of Arab cultures through an exhibit set up at Marshall McLuhan Hall at the University Center.

According to Rawia Azzahrawi, an Arabic language instructor in the university’s faculty of arts, the exhibit shows clothing, food and cities that are associated with Arab cultures.

Arabic calligraphy, Arabian horses and Arab scientists are also a focus, Azzahrawi said.
