Motherhood and depression study seeking participants
A University of Manitoba researcher is seeking mothers to participate in a study examining postpartum depression.
Are you a mother who is feeling “blue” or depressed? If so, you are invited to participate in a research study about mothers’ perceptions of themselves and their relationships.
If you are:
– between the ages of 18 and 45
– have at least one child
– have a partner for at least one yearYou may be eligible to participate in an ethics approved university study.
The Psychology/Sociology Research Ethics Board at the University of Manitoba has approved this research.
Participation will include a 15-minute phone interview and questionnaires that you will complete at home. The questionnaires may take up to 90 minutes to complete, and participants are asked to return them by postage-paid mail.
You will receive compensation of $20 for your participation.
This research is being conducted by Michelle Choch, M.A. and research supervisor Dr. Edward Johnson.
