Please join me at our third annual Budget Town Hall, President

On October 16, I am hosting my third annual town hall focused on the University of Manitoba’s budget and financial health. I encourage all interested faculty, staff, and students to join us in person or to participate online.

Once again, I will be joined by Dr. Diane Hiebert-Murphy, Provost and Vice-President (Academic), and Mike Emslie, UM’s CFO and Comptroller. They will provide a detailed presentation, after which we will take questions about UM’s finances.

Our budget is a foundational document, and a number of UM community members have expressed that they find these presentations to be very worthwhile. I look forward to once again connecting with everyone to share ideas about how we can continually improve.
