Flag at half-mast for Usha Thiyam-Hollander

The flag at the University of Manitoba will be at half-mast in memory of Dr. Usha Thiyam-Hollander on January 6, 2021.
Thiyam-Hollander died on Dec. 24. She joined the UM faculty in 2007 and will be missed by her colleagues in the department of Food and Human Nutritional Sciences, and across our community.
Thank you for honoring my sister who was born in a small town of Imphal in the north east part of India and went on to achieve great heights receiving Canadian citizenship. She remains an inspiration for many of us.
We miss you Eche Usha. We still remember the time we spent together. May your soul Rest In Peace.
