Scientific American/National Geographic/BBC: The prairie dog wave

Many media outlets recently carried news about the work conducted by professor James Hare from the department of biological sciences. Such outlets include Scientific American, the National Geographic, the BBC, and Discovery. This is not even close to being an exhaustive list.
As Hare wrote in an email to UM Today: “While I’ve never doubted the capacity of the animals I study to amaze and delight, I will confess I find the attention somewhat overwhelming!”
