Poverty & Social Inclusion for Families in Manitoba Conference
On March 27 and 28, 2019, the University of Manitoba is proud to be co-hosting a satellite event as part of the pan-Canadian Families in Canada Conference 2019. In collaboration with the Vanier Institute of the Family and fellow university partners across Canada, we will explore poverty and social inclusion in Manitoba through a family lens. The conference will take place at the Viscount Gort Hotel in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Diverse leaders who study, serve and support families, along with those with lived experience, will gather at this unique and inclusive series of events for two days of knowledge-sharing and catalytic conversation. Our overall theme is Poverty and Social Inclusion for Families in Manitoba.
Join us for two days of knowledge sharing and catalytic conversation with diverse leaders who study, serve and support families. Through engaging presentations and panel discussions, delegates will explore modern families and family life, share experiences, and learn from the stories behind the statistics.
