U of M recognizes Asper’s Emerging Leaders

March 20, 2015 —

On March 11, the University of Manitoba recognized eight Asper School of Business students with Emerging Leader Awards. Congratulations to Brayden Bernstein, Ashton Dewar, Travis Dreger, Nia Frederica, Shan Jin, Matt Odger, Raf Richichi and Jessica Rosenbaum!

Each year, U of M Student Life recognizes up to 75 student leaders who have made outstanding contributions to our campus and in our community. Emerging Leaders are students who have completed at least one full year of study at the U of M, have a minimum 2.5 GPA (in any faculty, school or program), and are involved on campus (or through U of M activities).

The keynote speaker at this year’s Emerging Leader Dinner was Kal Barteski,a
sought-after artist known for her typographic art, and for her portrayals of polar bears. She is also a published author, an award winning designer, a TEDx speaker, and a winner of a Women Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
