U of M celebrates Global Entrepreneurship Week on November 19
The Stu Clark Centre for Entrepreneurship at the University of Manitoba’s Asper School of Business will celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week on Wednesday, Nov. 19 with a day of dynamic speakers and public sessions designed to explore, celebrate and motivate entrepreneurial thinking and action. All members of the University of Manitoba community and the general public are invited to attend.

Global Entrepreneurship Week runs November 17 to 23. 125 countries are taking part around the globe, making the event the world’s largest celebration of the innovators and job creators who turn big ideas into successful business ventures, drive economic growth and expand human welfare.
“Entrepreneurial potential surrounds all of us, so we’re inviting everyone to join us and discover how entrepreneurs in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Canada are unleashing new ideas and bringing them to life,” says Stuart Henrickson, I.H. Asper Executive Director of the Stu Clark Centre. “Our speakers have exciting stories to tell about seizing opportunities, taking risks, being creative and making a difference in the world – stories that will not only inform but inspire.”
The Stu Clark Centre will also serve a free lunch and give away door prizes, including Winnipeg Jets tickets.
