When guitarist and composer Emmanuel Bach left Brazil for Winnipeg, he knew he would have to start over. What he didn’t know was how much the experience would shape him — not only as a musician, but as a father and a person. Beyond performing, Bach has embraced teaching. He works as a sessional instructor in guitar at the University of Manitoba, where he mentors jazz students and guitarists, and also offers private lessons in person and online.
