The University of Manitoba will be lowering the flag on the Administration Building on Oct. 7, 2024 in memory of Dr. James House.

September 6, 2024 — 
The flag on the Administration Building will be lowered until Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, at sundown, in memory of Grand Chief Cathy Merrick.

August 16, 2024 — 
The University of Manitoba will be lowering the flag on the Administration Building on Aug. 20, 2024 in memory of Bruce Pirnie.

August 12, 2024 — 
The flag on the Administration Building will be lowered on Aug. 13, 2024, in memory of Walter Stephen Good.

July 18, 2024 — 
The flag on the Administration Building will be lowered from July 19 to July 21, 2024, in memory of Chris McCann.

June 14, 2024 — 
Flag to be lowered for James Richard Churchill Gray, Dr. Kenneth Morgan Adam

May 22, 2024 — 
The University of Manitoba will be lowering the flag on the Administration Building on May 24, 2024, in memory of Albert Doerksen, a janitor at Bannatyne campus for over 10 years.

May 3, 2024 — 
The University of Manitoba will be lowering the flag on the Administration Building on May 5, 2024, for the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirited People.

April 26, 2024 — 
The University of Manitoba will be lowering the flag on the Administration Building on April 28, 2024, for the National Day of Mourning for persons killed or injured in the workplace.

April 17, 2024 — 
The University of Manitoba will be lowering the flag on the Administration Building on April 19, 2024, in memory of UM student, Owen Sinkins.
