SOFA open house: buy a work of art, get a bowl of chili

The School of Fine Arts (SOFA) is hosting an open house on February 23 from 12-5 p.m. where they will be selling artworks done by students. They will also have a chili sale where you buy a ceramic bowl (made by a student) and then you get chili.

ABOUT OPEN HOUSE

School of Art students will strut their stuff during the 2014 School of Art Open House, Artworks produced during this school year by first to third year students will be displayed throughout the new ARTlab building. All studios will be represented, including drawing, ceramics, graphic design, painting, photography, print media and video.

(Art Market + Chili Bowl Sale for Family, Friends & Community)

Sunday, February 23 will be the community and family day. This year the Chili Bowl sale will be part of the students’ Art Market, which will be located on the lower level of ARTlab. The Ceramics Club will be joined by other student clubs, as well as by individual students to present an array of artworks and crafts for sale.
