Runners needed for research study
Are you a member of a running group who took up solo running due to social distancing? If so, a Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management research team would like your involvement in a research study.
The purpose of the study is to understand how runners’ identities influence their adjustment to running alone.
Participation in this study involves completing a brief online survey and an optional phone/video call interview with a research assistant.
To be eligible, you need to be:
- Over 18-years old
- Have run with your running group for at least six weeks
- Have completed at least four consecutive weeks of running alone due to social distancing
More details on the study, including the link to participate, is online.
This study has been approved by the University of Manitoba Education and Nursing Research Ethics Board.
