SCALE 1:1 LIGNEOUS ARTEFACTS FOR LAKE MANITOBA FIRST NATION’S NEW GREEN HEART : Network News
September 25, 2024 — Ligneous Artefacts is the title of the ARCG 7102 studio during the summer term of 2024. The goal was to design and build a series of non-standardized site-specific features for the Shared Path, that turns a site on Lake Manitoba First Nation land into a gathering place where young and old can meet, share, and create new stories.

September 24, 2024 — The Arctic is warming up four times faster than the global average. This provides an opportunity for new predators such as killer whales to make their way into the Arctic, preying on narwhal, bowhead and beluga whales who have never experienced direct predation from them. This is one of the areas that Colin Garroway and his research team study at the University of Manitoba. Garroway is an associate professor at the department of biological sciences whose research revolves around biodiversity.
