Noah Yagi: 5 Days for the Homeless
My name is Noah Yagi and I am a 5 Days sleeper. I am also the President of the Commerce Students’ Association. I am in my fourth and final year at the Asper School of Business. I wanted to be a sleeper in order to raise awareness about homelessness in my community. Raising funds for RAY (Resource Assistance for Youth) is important but raising awareness is how we are going to help end homelessness. Participating in this event gives me the opportunity to inform and educate my fellow students about this issue. I have two goals which I hope to meet by participating in this campaign. Firstly, I want to develop a personal understanding of the challenges homeless people face. Secondly, I hope to educate others about this issue so that, together, we can ensure that all members of our community have access to the basic human rights of shelter food and clothing.
