Canada's senior women's wheelchair basketball national team will open their Paris 2024 Paralympic competition on August 29 in a game against China. Alongside them will be Bisons women's basketball head coach Michele Sung.

Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management dean, Douglas Brown says his interest in the Olympics goes all the way back to high school, where he found out the mother of one of his physical education teachers competed in the 1938 Berlin Olympics.

The 2024 UM Faculty and Staff Golf Tournament will return to Kingswood Golf and Country Club on Monday, August 19. The event tees off in a shotgun start at 1:00 pm for nine holes and concludes with a BBQ from 4:00 – 5:30 pm.
