Faculty of Engineering Launches 2019/20 Indigenous Initiatives Workshop Series for Engineering Faculty Members

The Faculty of Engineering with support by the University of Manitoba Indigenous Initiatives Fund, the NSERC Chair in Design Engineering, the Centre for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning, and Migizii Agamik – Bald Eagle Lodge, is pleased to announce the 2019/2020 Indigenous Initiatives Workshops & Events Series for Engineering Faculty Members.
The series is being advised by Elder Norman Meade, who will be providing cultural and spiritual guidance as the part-time Elder-in-Residence to Engineering Faculty Members, Staff, and students as they work to integrate Indigenous values, knowledges and perspectives into engineering curriculum and activities.
