Discovery Day event welcomes international students in high school

The Discovery Day for International Students event took place on November 21 at University Centre. It’s U of M’s annual event for grade 10, 11 and 12 Manitoba high school students who have completed part of their high school studies internationally or are recent immigrants, on a study permit or exchange students.

Organized by student recruitment, Student Affairs, students participated in a morning of activities including presentations about admission requirements and applying to university, career and degree planning information for international students, campus tours and an information fair featuring representatives from U of M’s many faculties and academic programs.
