Come ski for free at UM Southwood Grounds
Winnipeg Trails and UM Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management have teamed up to offer a free skiing event on January 19-22, and you’re invited!
You’ll have the option to ski the groomed trails on the Southwood Grounds Ski Area at lunch, in the afternoon, at night or all of the above.

Everyone is welcome to join us for one or more of the timeslots above. All equipment is provided. You are welcome to bring your own equipment if you have it. Warm clothes and sturdy boots are recommended.
WheelBlades and Sit Skis (for wheelchairs) are also available; we recommend emailing Kirby [at] WinnipegTrails [dot] ca, our accessible equipment specialist, who will be happy to help determine the right equipment and make sure you have what you need!
