Asper Class of ’15 celebrates student, teaching excellence
The Asper School of Business graduating class of 2015 celebrated the achievements of several students and a professor on May 2.
Class valedictorian Sam Davidson received the CSA Award of Excellence. Davidson served as the Commerce Students’ Association’s 2014-2015 manager of corporate relations. The award recognized his leadership, commitment, and outstanding contributions to the CSA Council, members, and the Asper School of Business.
Asper students Luke McKim and Eben Rawluk received the Ignacy “Iggy” Domagalski Award for their leadership of Asper’s JDC (Jeux du Commerce) West competition team. This year, Asper was named JDC West “School of the Year” for the first time ever.
Victor Cui, assistant professor in Business Administration, received the Golden Shovel award in honour of his outstanding teaching skills. He was nominated by the graduating class as the professor who made the most significant impact on their time at Asper.
