August 22, 2025 —  Now in its fifth year, the University of Manitoba’s Institute for Indigenous Content Literacy is a twelve-week program created in response to the TRC’s Calls to Action. By equipping more than 500 faculty and staff with knowledge and skills, the Institute strengthens reconciliation efforts that shape student learning and foster a more inclusive campus.

August 21, 2025 —  The long-standing tradition of the White Coat Ceremony, where incoming students put on white coats to mark their entrance into Max Rady College of Medicine took place at the Centennial Concert Hall, Wednesday, August 20, 2025. This is the first time the ceremony was held at the hall due to the size of the class--140 students, 11 of whom are Indigenous will graduate in 2029.
